Strings Clinic

Clinic starts Saturday @ 10am | Open performance at 12:30

Learn from our strings clinician about video game music and how to play video game songs. This clinic is open to all ages but is designed for youth in middle school. You will be playing music from Mario, Zelda, and Skyrim.

2018 String Clinician: Ken Schuster

Ken Schuster is a full time orchestra teacher at LILA (Lakes International Language Academy) at the Headwaters Campus. Ken earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music Education degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth. He has been a private instructor of violin and viola in Duluth, Minneapolis, and Forest Lake. While studying at the University, he traveled to Cuba and Panama with the UMD Chamber Strings Ensemble. Ken completed his student teaching through the Danila Kumar School, an IB World School in Ljubljiana, Slovenia, as a teacher of classroom music for grades 1-9. Along with teaching, Ken performs with the Wayzata Symphony Orchestra and maintains a string trio that travels in the Midwest.

VGM CON admission required to participate. All VGM CON events are included with a single admission.
