[6:00p] The Music Theory of Sick Beats

This is going to be a highly educational panel all about rhythms, time signatures, and the sickest beats imaginable. In both my undergrad and master's degrees, as well as spending lots of time studying Sungazer and Tigran Hamasayan music, I've developed a fascination for highly rhythmic based music. I wanted to distill what I know about rhythms into a short 60 minute presentation. Here we are going to break down rhythmic concepts from beginner to advanced, picking apart songs across video game history, and ultimately answering the question that has plagued humanity since the dawn of time: What truly is the sickest beat?
