OrcaMind is the band of Michelle Heafy & Josiah Everhart. They first found their audience on YouTube with their solo VGM covers, & joined forces in 2020 to cultivate their unique sound. They’re now twitch partners, streaming nightly shows to their online audience. They play live shows while releasing new VGM and original songs every month.
OrcaMind’s genre is dreamy, VGM inspired alt rock/synth-pop. Their music focuses on catchy melodies, harmonies, fingerstyle guitar, & layered synths. OrcaMind’s music has an overarching theme of positivity and perseverance. Their main inspiration is melodic video game music such as EarthBound, Zelda, & Chrono Trigger.
Michelle sang lead vocals on two official Magic: The Gathering soundtracks. Along with solo albums, OrcaMind recently released their first full album “SeaBirds” in Aug 2025.
