Do you play music on casual mode? Signup to showcase a short video/song/performance at VGM CON. This all-ages event at VGM CON is meant to provide a space to highlight performers who haven’t “gone pro”. Costumes are encouraged but not required!

In-person requirements: All performances must be 5 minutes or less.
All performers must check-in at the stage at least 15 minutes before event starts.
Only basic microphones and a piano/keyboard will be available.
Performances and costumes must abide by our Code of Conduct.
Virtual requirements: All videos must be 5 minutes or less.
Video submissions must not be previously posted on Youtube or other video streaming platform.
Videos must be in landscape 16:9. No portrait (9:16) videos will be accepted.
Please submit in either 720p or 1080p resolution.
All videos must be original to the performer.
All videos must be submitted in standard video codecs (.MP4, .AVI, etc.).
Video submissions should be of an acceptable quality (no excess background noise, shaky video, etc.)
Performances, costumes, and imagery must abide by our code of conduct.
What are we looking for?
Since this event is hybrid, it’s going to be different from the typical VGM CON experience. Acts will be rotate between in-person performances and digital performances. Through our Recital, we want to feature shorter programming from a variety of styles, musicians, groups, and artists.
What you need before submitting: A proposed video/song/performance to feature
Enough understanding of video production to deliver content to us (virtual)
A Discord account
A title to your contribution idea
A description of your contribution idea
A video no more than 5 minutes in length (virtual)
