This year VGM CON is excited to be supporting PFund Foundation as our 2026 charity partner! Pfund builds equity with LGBTQ+ communities across the Upper Midwest by providing grants and scholarships, developing leaders, and inspiring giving. VGM CON 2026, Midwest Speedfest, and the 2026 Charity Album Jam will all be raising money for PFund’s Emergency Fund Campaign.
PFund believes the violence and trauma of this moment deserves an urgent response, while facing a hard truth: the same violent animus targeting our undocumented neighbors has the greater LGBTQ+ community directly in its path. History shows us, however, that when our community recognizes a threat early and acts together, we protect lives and change outcomes.
PFund is our community’s best vehicle to collectively pool our resources in order to maximize our power and impact.
Right now, our communities are confronting an unprecedented convergence of threats:

Erosion of fundamental rights through coordinated legislative, judicial, and administrative attacks targeting LGBTQ+ existence

Communities being terrorized by a federal government that relies on intimidation, secrecy, and lies.

An ideological movement that is explicit about its goal: our erasure from public life, from law, from education, from healthcare, and from one another.
These threats are real. But so is our collective strength.
