Audio Mocha

From Colombia and now coming to you from Colorado, Audio Mocha is here to get you grooving with rock with a tropical flavor. Daniel Mateo Florez, lead guitarist and main driving force behind Audio Mocha, started playing around with covering VGM around 2014 during the Theathrythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call contest to remix the original Final Fantasy theme. Having chosen surf rock as his niche after spending much of his university years listening to Daikaiju while studying, he has since been expanding into surf rock-adjacent genres like ska, Hawaiian slide guitar, and cumbia (a Colombian genre that took on a very surf guitar sound in the 60s-70s with the introduction of the electric guitar). Audio Mocha has been involved closely with VGM communities like OverClocked Remix, Pixel Mixers, and Dwelling Of Duels and has been involved in multiple community projects as well as solo releases. He is also a huge fan of music from the Zelda, Final Fantasy and Xenoblade franchises.
