Down Loadable Collective

Down Loadable Collective (DLC) is a band that combines the unpredictability and in the moment composition of jazz with the language and musical love of VGM and J-pop music!

Hailing from the Midwest, band founder Hans Fuerst fell in love with the melodies and harmonies of VGM early in life. Later, the influence and musical process of jazz music infiltrated his process to create the band and approach now called Down Loadable collective. The outcome of this fusion is a type of improvised music where the DNA is a splice of both the melodic diction of VGM as well as the improvised and on the spot composition of jazz. A DLC show can range from somber and slow to upbeat and highly energetic!
