By picking up your badge, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Gamer’s Rhapsody, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, including but not limited to those for death, bodily injury, property damage, or loss of any kind, which may arise from your participation in Gamer’s Rhapsody events and programs, including VGM CON, regardless of cause or fault, and whether or not caused by the negligence of Gamer’s Rhapsody or its representatives.
You acknowledge and understand the inherent risks involved in attending a convention and music festival, including, but not limited to, participating in potentially strenuous or dangerous physical activities, exposure to flashing lights, loud music, and crowded environments. You affirm that your participation is entirely voluntary, and that you have been made aware of these risks. You further affirm that you do not have any physical or mental conditions that would increase your likelihood of experiencing injuries or adverse health effects while engaging in these activities. You agree to make every effort to obey all safety precautions as listed in writing and as explained verbally, and will ask for clarification when needed.
By picking up your badge, you irrevocably waive and forfeit all rights to bring a suit or make a claim against Gamer’s Rhapsody for any reason related to your participation. In consideration for this waiver, you will be granted access to all Gamer’s Rhapsody activities and amenities of the host venue.
All youth badge holders (ages 17 and under) MUST have an participation waiver acknowledged and signed by a legal guardian in order to receive their badge. This may be done in advance or at the event.
